A Fish Fry, Compounding, & Hidden Education

In this final installment of John's story, he begins looking back differently. What once felt like disconnected jobs, frustrations, and career detours starts to reveal a hidden curriculum of lessons, skills, relationships, and wisdom that compounded over time. Along the way, I share a parallel reflection of my own as I prepare for a move from Alaska to Washington and consider what decades of medicine, education, leadership, and coaching have quietly taught me. This week's reflection explores the hidden education found in every season of work and why very little is truly wasted when we're paying attention.
