Plans give us direction, but life does not always follow the route we imagined. In this episode, I share how we chose our home in Washington, and explore how getting clear about what we want can help us make intentional plans while remaining open to unexpected possibilities. I also offer a physician-focused adaptation of Stanford’s Odyssey Planning exercise for imagining three possible five-year paths.
